Eindhoven Now & Then

Contribution to the exhibition in the Van Abbe Museum Eindhoven with the project Eindhoven Now & Then For more than a century, people have been coming to Eindhoven to work. Occupations have changed, as have the places of origin of these labour migrants. Job descriptions from old address books give an insight into this history. When matched to current residents they show a changing notion of labour.

With this contribution to the exhibition Internationals in the city in the Van Abbe museum EIndhoven my aim was compare the past with the present time to learn more about the history on how international people and labor transformed the city of eindhoven.
